Jax is a BIG 7th Grader now...

And he is excited for the ladies...

6th Grade was a good year for us thanks to good friends and a GREAT teacher!

We figured out about half way through the season why Callie could not seem to hit the ball...

SHE WAS CLOSING HER EYES!!!

After we got that worked out, we had a great season! I am always grateful for dads that will step up and coach our little ones! It takes time and patience and I so appreciate Coach Mason taking his turn!

Greg does it AGAIN!!!

2 IRONMANS in 6 months...Pretty impressive! Not only for Greg but also the family that supported him on this year long journey. (yes...I am going to get my credit!) And an awesome journey it was! (for the most part) It is not easy on anyone! So much goes into the event...the hours of training, the nutrition planning, the mental preparations, the emotional outcome, and so much more! Obviously the athlete has the edge on the physical requirement but as for the rest...it involves the entire family support!

This race was different that Florida in many ways...

* 14 friends to train with.

* Courses completely different. One flat, one with BRUTAL hills.

* 30+ family member on course cheering him on.

But Race day is worth every minute...here are a few pics!

What is a Rube Goldberg Machine???

That was my question when Annie came home with her latest ELP project...Well here is the answer:

A Rube Goldberg machine is a deliberately over engineered machine that performs a very simple task in a very complex fashion, usually including a chain reaction.

And so we started the brainstorming process...it had to have 3 steps, start with a mousetrap and end by popping a balloon! I was SUPER impressed with her thought process as she talked herself through each step of what and how it should happen...Here is the final result! WAY TO GO ANNIE...and dad too! He helped withe the logistics!
