Fun times at the cabin...

Grandma and Grandpa took J, A, and C to the cabin for a week before we got there. They went into the park to see the geysers, swam at the club and in the lake, visited the library and went on walks. Dad and I drove to Utah with A and dropped her off at the airport so she could help her aunt with her four children in Hawaii...Tough life, 9 days in Hawaii. She helped cook, tend and play at the beach and pool with her cousins. Their ages were 8, 5, 3, and 6 weeks. It was a great learning experience for A. She says she learned alot and had lots of fun! The hightlight for her was snorkeling at Black rock, seeing eels and turtles and lots of fish and at the end earning $20 by jumping off Black Rock. Thanks Aunt Jami for letting her come!

Dad and I arrived at the cabin Wed afternoon - 10 days of not seeing the kids. I don't know who was more excited. Me and Dad, the kids - or Grandma and Grandpa! We must have had 10 calls on the way seeing "how much longer?"

The cabin is always the highlight of the summer! We read, play, do puzzles, go on picnics, get pizza at Wild West, have ice cream cones - Jackson decided he likes mom's favorite - Almond Joy! It was a pretty mellow summer at the cabin. No motorcycles! Yeah for me but a bummer for the kids. Aunt Jeni is going through chemotherapy for cancer and so we just took it really easy. She gets really tired easily so we did not try to do too much! My 2 aunts and uncles were there for us! That was great for us to be able to spend time with them. It means a lot to me to have my kids get to know them and have fun memories with them! Yes, it can get a bit hectic and loud with everyone there, but overall it is the best place to be and I do not think andyone would rather be anywhere else! Here are some pictures of our week!

These are only a few pics of the many things we did at the cabin! It is the best place ever!
