Price Utah...another roots trip!

Where do I start...the photos will tell our summer 2009 story!
July started with the roots trip to Price, Utah. I realized that I have never been to my grandma Pace's grave. She passed away when I was 8 month pregnant with Ashlynn, so I could not travel to the funeral. We spent the day with my mom and dad seeing sights from their youth! Mom was born in Price and dad moved there when he was in the 8th grade! It was love at first sight for them and the rest is history! We saw where thy lived, went to school, where their parents worked, ditches they played in, train tracks they were not allowed to pass to the west side, where they bought their treats and so much more! They loved telling us all about it and we loved learning from them.

Meeting house that Grandpa Pace built as bishop...he served for over 13 years.
The kids in the ditch in front of Grandmas house! We lost Sadie's shoes.

The fireplace built at Grandma and Grandpa Pace's house. It is still there...just the same!
Mom and Dad's high school.

Grandpa Hobbs was the manager of JC Penneys for years! They moved around a lot. Luckily he got assigned to the Price store so dad could meet mom!
