Oceanside 1/2 IRONMAN

I did it...again! There were a few things that did not go as planned such as dropping my entire nutrition bottle the 1st mile into my 56 mile ride, high winds, not bike computer and so on. Despite the mind games that start when I have to change my plans, I had a great day! PR by 2 minutes and overall very happy with the end result! I love being there knowing there are friends on the course and accomplishing something that is not easy...I love RACE DAY but am always glad to have the training over with!

Spring Break

Here are a few photos to show how much fun we had...We fit a lot in in a short amount of time. The cabin, snowmobiling, pizza at Wild West, Skiing at Brighton, fun with cousins, dinner at Lake's cousins, movies, card games, dominoes, eating, and lots of driving.

A few shots of our home during the LOVE season. It is hard to find cuted decorations for Valentine's Day. Luckily I found some fun ideas by blog stalking...love creative people that share their ideas!

Someone asked if these were made of loofahs...nope, just sheer fabric ruffled up around a styrofoam ball. So easy!

These are a few of my "LEAST" favorite things...

Do you have a least favorite job around the house? I have 3...probably more , but I cannot think of them right now! ...and all three needed to be done at the same time today. It stunk!

I dread laundry day (or days)...folding I am okay with. It is the putting away part!

It was my major grocery shopping day - hit 3 stores and still forgot some of the things at the top of the list -

I hate putting groceries away!

(yes you see lots of junk food in the grocery bags - I am headed out of town for the weekend and so I stock up on good yummy food for the babysitters!)

I am now the "mom who only buys WHEAT stuff!" YUCK!

Needless to say, they love when I go out of town...chips, sugar cereal, oreos...

And the dishwasher...I can load and unload with the best of 'em...but putting them away...forget about it!

Special Days!

Jax received the most important gift of all this year as he turned 12. He was able to be ordained to the priesthood office of a Deacon by his dad! He was surrounded by men that love him and that honor their priesthood. I am grateful to Greg's family (and my mom) for being there and helping to make this day one to remember!

Parties...with GIRLS!!!

Jax had a little party between his basketball practice and his firs deacon's basketball game. We had his buddies over for pizza and ice cream! He wanted a few girls to come...He is going to be a ladies man we can already tell. He has good friends and we are grateful for their good choices and good example to Jax.
