...To not leave two 3 yr olds alone in the basement for too long. I watched my nephew today and decided to have a neighbor over for a play date! All was going well! I had the movie started, the blocks out and thought I could sneak upstairs and get a few Christmas cards written. It was too quiet for too long and I decided to go and check on them. when one met me on the stairs with that grin they give when they know they are busted- I knew something was up. Following are the pictures of what I found...
Every game out of my game closet...and dumped! Monopoly, battleship, sorry, operation, flannel board stories, puzzles, memory, Lego's, and so much more! I could only smile when one said "We will help you clean up" and both immediately started singing the standard, "Clean up, Clean up."
It was a good chance for me to get to a much needed project of cleaning out old games.
It was fun to have the little guys around - It made me realize how quiet my house is all day. Don't wish it away too soon. It will be here before you know it!

Oh goodness! That happened once at our house when some cousins were over, but I literally could NOT see the floor in the basement...the WHOLE basement. Yikes!
