A Quiet Thanksgiving this year...

I think that this year has been our most low key Thanksgiving yet...and that is not a bad thing! It used to be that we would do the every other year thing - UT one year, AZ the next. Once we moved to AZ we decided that it was so far to drive up UT for the short week and then turn around and go again at Christmas...(I can't believe I am saying this - me who loves to travel every chance I get!) It worked out that my entire family came down last year and loved it so that may be a new tradition. I would love it!
This year it ended up that there were only 3 of the 5 that could go to Roc and Sydneys. We are thankful that we have family to enjoy it with - no matter how many! The food was fabulous - ate way too much coconut cream pie - my one time a year treat! It was so great...

We had to play our traditional musical chairs - it can get pretty rough around the circle with all the aunts and uncles. It is the highlight to see who comes out the winner. New rules come up every year - like the no chair guarding. We have a one warning and your out rule. This gets pretty hard to follow the closer to the end you get! It is fun and we all laugh a lot!

Here are a few pictures of our day! You will see that there are sometimes tears, a lot of dancing , a few elbows and hips thrown, and the best is lots of laughing!

And the winner is...Grandpa!
