Where can you go and always find a smile?

Disneyland! That is one of the many things I love about that place. Everyone you see, no matter their circumstance has a smile. It truly is the "Happiest place on earth." My only recommendation is to not go 2 days after you run a marathon...Bad idea! The walking around was not the rough part. It was the standing up and down on every ride and walking up and down the stairs! Not Good! What we do for kids...

Here are a few pictures to show our good times!

Who doesn't love a churro?

We planned the trip a few months back for the 2nd week in December because the numbers are the lowest then. We went with a family that our kids match up perfect with - except for Jax so we took our cousin for him to have as his buddy! It was so great. The longest line we waited in was 10 minutes. Most of the rides were no lines so we could just keep going and going on our favorites. I think the overall favorite was Mullholland Madness. It reminds me of Mousetrap at Lagoon. There were a few traumatized kids - after California Screamin, the Maliboomer, and Tower of Terror! Sometimes there were tears before the rides and smile after and some were smiles before and tears after. I am the mean mom that makes them try everything once and them they can decide to go again. There were a few that the parents got into - a little competition on the Toy Story and Buzz Lightyear rides! Callie loved the princesses, characters and all the kids loved the High School Musical parade! What a fabulous time! Can't wait to go again...in a few years!

Oh, this makes me miss the days of living there with season passes. Those first 2 weeks were the best time to go! I'm going to have to remember this for next year...
